KC HiLites has been pioneering higher quality off-road lighting since 1970.  Since the beginning, KC's involvement with motorsports has been critical to the process of designing, engineering and manufacturing the most advanced auxiliary lighting available.  As the original manufacturer of off-road auxiliary lighting, KC HiLites not only set the standard for the category, they created it.

KC's ideas spend a lot of time in the conceptual and designing stages before a light is prototyped.  Once prototyped, the new unit is subjected to vibration, corrosion and moisture testing.  It is then put through the ultimate "real world" test by subjecting them to the extremes of professional off-road racing.  Feedback from the racers helps make sure the designs are headed in the right direction and worthy of bearing the KC name.

KC Replacement Lenses are identical to the originals and available for all KC lights with replaceable lenses or lens/reflectors.  The lens is the most critical factor in determining the clarity, focus and type of beam pattern (ie. fog, driving or long range) of any light.  Plastic lenses are common in lower wattage lights and offer greater resistance to damage from debris.  Glass lenses are use on higher wattage lights and can withstand the greater heat generated by the bulb.  Clear lenses pass more light and allow you to see better.  Amber lenses provide greater contrast and let oncoming drivers see you sooner in fog, rain or snow.
