The heat treated, grade 8 alloy steel makes this stud perfect for hi-performance and race car applications. The enlarged radius at the base of the stud above the hex provides extra strength and durability, this design prevents stud flexing and breaking. Strobe tests show a horsepower increase at high rpm with the use of these studs. Black oxide finish.
